WordPress FSE diminishing returns
WordPress FSE is a lesson in diminishing returns. The complexity-to-flexibility ratio doesn't make sense when modern stacks just work.
You spend hours fighting with block themes, learning new patterns, and debugging template issues. Meanwhile, a modern static site does the same thing in a fraction of the time.
The overhead isn't worth it anymore. When you can write content in Markdown, translate it automatically, and deploy anywhere—the CMS feels like an anchor, not a tool.
Sometimes simpler really is better.
