Noise drowns signal, people tune out
If the platform's filtering cannot surface scarce human signal effectively, noise drowns signal and people tune out. But when filtering works well, genuine personal content becomes disproportionately valuable.
If the platform's filtering (algorithm + user behaviour) cannot surface the scarce stuff effectively, the whole thing feels pointless. Noise drowns signal, people tune out or leave, death spiral.
If filtering works reasonably well, scarce human signal becomes disproportionately valuable because contrast is extreme.
Be genuinely personal, specific, battle-tested.
